At all times but now more than ever, we need to take care of ourselves.

While navigating the new environment, we continue to place our guests and colleagues at the center of everything we do. We have enhanced health and safety measure, taking all appropriate steps in line with the guidelines from the National Health Organization and Government authorities.

These measures include thorough cleaning and sanitization, proper use of equipment and staff training in all aspects of health, safety and hygiene. Protocols vary for each department and are constantly updated as the situation changes.

Your care and safety is our primary concern and we would like to assure you that we remain devoted to our commitment in providing highest standard of service. For Imaret this means offering a comforting and enjoyable experience to our guests while delivering the same attention to detail, and a safe workplace for our employees around the world.

Reservation Confirmation

To complete your reservation we would like to ask you for:

Upon acceptance of the reservation, you are requested to fill out our Credit Card Authorization Form, allowing Imaret to a pre-authorization* equivalent to the amount of one night stay, in order to confirm your reservation with us.

* Pre-authorization of an electronic debit or credit card transaction, means that the corresponding amount is reserved to confirm your booking. The amount release is completed between 5-10 days, depending on the bank’s policy, making the corresponding amount available to you once again.

Please note that a reservation cannot be confirmed if the above are not met.

Cancellation Policy

Winter Season (October-March): No fee is charged for cancellations prior to 3 days of the scheduled arrival date.
Cancellations received within 3 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, are charged with one (1) night cancellation fees.
Non-show guests or Cancellations on the scheduled arrival date are charged with 100% of the total reservation.

Summer Season (April-September): No fee is charged for cancellations prior to 7 days of the scheduled arrival date.
Cancellations received within 7 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, are charged with one (1) night the total stay.
For Non-show guests or Cancellations on the scheduled arrival date are charged with 100% of the total reservation.

*Kindly note that during Easter, Christmas and New Years, you can cancel your reservation without fee fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled arrival date.

Group & Event Cancellation Policy

No fee is charged for cancellations prior to fourteen (14) days of the scheduled arrival date.

Cancellations received within thirteen (13) to three (3) days prior of the scheduled arrival date, 50% of the total reservation will be charged.

Cancellations within 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date, Non-shows or departures prior to the scheduled departure date, are charged with the 100% of the total reservation.

Children Policy

Children under the age of 12 years old cannot be hosted in our premises for safety reasons.

Pets

Well behaved pets, under 8 kilos are permitted in our premises. Please inform us in advance.

Cats and birds

Cats were considered sacred in ancient Egypt as well as a symbol of grace and poise. That is why they are part of our concept. Please note that all our cats are vaccinated and medically attended. Due to the open spaces and gardens in our premises birds are also found.

Special Remarks

Guided Tours of the monuments

Guided tours of the monument are given to all hotel guests free of charge. Residents also have a free pass for our museum “house of Mohammed Ali”. Guided tours of both monuments are also available for nonresidents with a €8 ticket at Imaret (tours take place from 10am until 2pm /closed on Tuesday) and €5 ticket for the house of Mohammed Ali (open to the public from 10ap to 2pm/closed Monday to Wednesday). For your best convenience please contact us.

Restaurant

Preserving quality is of outmost important for us. Due to new protocols regarding food hygiene we kindly ask you to book your meals prior to arrival. Our Front Desk is always at your service. Kindly take into consideration that nonresidents can also experience the Food and Beverage departments by reserving one day ahead.

Our Relaxation Areas are closed on Monday. If you wish to book a therapy on Monday please inform our Front Office in advance. Kindly take into consideration that nonresidents can also experience our Relaxation area by contacting our Front Office.
